Job summary

Mejuri is expanding its piercing studios across multiple markets, seeking a driven Piercing Lead to elevate customer experiences and studio profitability. You will manage initial piercings, ensure safety and hygiene, and mentor teammates in Mejuri’s customer-centric approach.

This role supports flexibility across full-time or part-time arrangements. You will use state-of-the-art piercing equipment and collaborate with operations to maintain peak service quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with needle piercing.
• Experience working with threadless jewellery.
• Up to date with First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens OSHA Certifications.
• Experience working with an autoclave or statim.
• Registry/licensing requirements per local area (e.g., Practitioner Registration).
• Understanding of local market piercing law requirements.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols for piercing procedures.
• Demonstrated service-excellence in a consumer environment.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Bonus: experience selling product at a fast growing company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the piercing customer journey from greeting to aftercare education.
• Act as Mejuri ambassador and build a strong local clientele.
• Lead by example on store standards and the Steps of Selling.
• Manage piercing studio operations with Store Services and Store Manager.
• Ensure health/safety standards and proper documentation, IDs, waivers.
