St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in Round Rock, TX, is hiring a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team.

You will perform patient assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, administer medications, and educate families on treatments. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of RN experience, ADN required with BSN preferred, and Texas RN license (or compact).

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of clinical nursing experience as an RN.
• Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• If ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years from date of hire.

Aufgaben

• Perform patient assessments at admission and document findings.
• Create and update plan of care, including discharge planning.
• Document outcomes of nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately.
• Provide educational materials to patients and families.
• Communicate significant information to physicians and supervisors.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy.
• Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff per standards of practice.
