St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, part of St. David’s HealthCare, seeks a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse to assess patients on admission, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality pediatric care across the care continuum. The RN will document outcomes, transcribe orders accurately, educate families, and maintain timely communication with physicians.

Qualificações

• 2 years of clinical nursing experience as an RN.
• Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform patient assessments on admission and ongoing
• Develop and revise care plans including discharge planning
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses
• Transcribe physician orders accurately
• Provide patient and family education on care and treatments
• Keep physicians and supervisors informed of significant information
• Administer medications per hospital policy
• Delegate to non-licensed staff per standards of practice
