Job summary

Starr Pass Golf Club in Tucson, AZ, part of Troon, seeks a Pickleball Program Coordinator to launch and grow a dynamic pickleball program for members and guests. You will deliver high-quality instruction, clinics, leagues, social events, and tournaments, creating a welcoming and energetic atmosphere.

The role requires coaching experience, USAPA/CPR certifications, strong communication, and availability for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

USAPA certification or equivalent.
Minimum 4.5 playing level.
Previous experience coaching players of varying skill level.
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
Strong communication and organization skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer systems.
Available for evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead instructional programs for all skill levels and age groups.
Teach private and group lessons, clinics, and workshops.
Assist in organizing leagues, socials, and tournaments (minimum of 2 tournaments and 6–8 social events per year).
Lead Open Play sessions to encourage engagement and identify coaching opportunities.
Provide member ratings and personalized coaching plans.
Collaborate with management and the Court Sports Committee to promote offerings.
Keep online calendars (Club Essentials) and bulletin boards up to date.
Ensure proper care and maintenance of courts and equipment.
Help enforce guest policies and support bocce programming.
Additional duties as assigned.
