Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring for a Pick & Pack Associate at our distribution center in North Canton, OH. This temporary role supports a renowned gourmet chocolate manufacturer, with a Monday–Friday schedule and two shift options, offering competitive hourly pay.

You will pack candies, operate wrappers and scales, prepare the production line, and uphold sanitation and quality standards across shifts. Candidates must have a high school diploma, GMP familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to follow GMPs.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Basic reading, writing, and math comprehension.
• Work attire must be clean and intact.

Responsibilities

• Pack candies and product bags into boxes.
• Operate wrappers, cutters, and boxing machines; scale items.
• Set up and prepare the production line each shift.
• Maintain line sanitation and perform end-of-shift cleanup.
• Ensure product labeling, appearance, and decoration meet standards.
• Ensure cases are properly filled and products meet company standards.

We are seeking enthusiastic Pick & Pack Associates for our distribution center in North Canton, Ohio. Become part of a dedicated team supporting a renowned gourmet chocolate manufacturer and enjoy a truly sweet work environment!

Position Highlights:

• Monday–Friday Work Schedule
• Temporary Position

Competitive Pay:

• 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm or 6:30am-3:00pm$17.00hr.
• Part-Time 1st shift 9:00am-2:00pm$17.00hr.
• 2nd shift:2:45pm-11:30pm $17.50hr.

Duties:

• Pack individual candies and product bags into boxes
• Operate various equipment including: shrink & flow wrappers, candy cutters, twist wrappers, boxing and box taping machines, and scales
• Set up and prepare the production line each shift
• Maintain line sanitation and complete thorough clean-up at shift end
• Uphold high quality standards for candy appearance, labeling, packing, and decoration
• Ensure all cases are properly filled and products meet company standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Basic reading, writing, and math comprehension
• No artificial nails or eyelashes permitted
• Work attire must be free from rips, holes, tears, patches, or frays

Physical Demands:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Bend, stoop, kneel, walk, and stand for extended periods
• Frequently perform repetitive manual tasks
