Qualifications

• PICC certification and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and evaluate suitability for PICC/midline placement.
• Perform PICC placement with aseptic technique and ensure correct insertion.
• Document insertion, placement confirmation, and medications in accordance with policy.
• Obtain informed consent and verify patient identification and orders.
• Provide patient education on PICC care and maintenance.
• Assist with clinical rounds and provide support to nursing staff.
