Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a PICC Line Nurse in Tucson, AZ to assess patients and perform PICC placement with aseptic technique. The nurse will ensure correct line placement and provide education on care and maintenance after insertion.

The role requires 2 years of OR/IR/PICC insertion experience, strong communication skills, and independence. A sign-on bonus, flexible schedule, and comprehensive benefits are offered to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must have good knowledge base for caring for central venous catheters.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• 2 years of OR, IR, or PICC insertion experience.

Responsibilities

• Place PICC line and ensure correct insertion.
• Assess patient and provide overall evaluation.
• Communicate with patient, family and healthcare team.
• Complete required paperwork and education on PICC care.
• Maintain aseptic technique and minimize patient discomfort.
• Document PICC insertion and placement confirmation.
