Job summary

VIC the PICC (VTP) is seeking experienced PICC RNs for per diem assignments across acute care facilities. You will place PICCs, midlines, and ultrasound-guided IVs, using ECG guidance for tip confirmation and providing vascular access support.

Requirements include an active RN license, a minimum of 3 years of acute care experience, ultrasound-guided IV placement, BLS, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active license and 3+ years in acute care.
• Experience placing PICCs/midlines and other CVADs using ultrasound.
• Experience with ultrasound-guided IV placement and vascular access management.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs with ultrasound guidance.
• Use ECG for PICC tip confirmation and device management.
• Provide vascular access support including port access and declotting.
• Educate facility staff on PICCs and CVAD care.
