Job summary

VTP Holdings, LLC is seeking experienced PICC RNs with vascular access expertise for per diem consulting across hospital and outpatient settings. You will place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound and support treatment objectives set by clinicians.

Travel to customer facilities and independent work are required, with a typical 8-hour shift and weekend availability. A current RN license and BLS certification are required, along with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with current, active license.
Experience placing PICCs, midlines, or other vascular access devices using ultrasound.
Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs).
Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management, including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
American Heart BLS Certification.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and meet scheduling requirements as indicated by job classification.
Minimum of 3 years of acute care RN experience.
Must possess a smart phone.
Must LOVE vascular access.

Responsibilities

Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs.
