Job summary

VTP Holdings is seeking an experienced Vascular Access Nurse Consultant (PICC RN) to perform ultrasound-guided placement of PICCs and other vascular access devices across hospital and non-hospital settings. The role involves collaboration with clinical teams and education of staff on CVADs.

Full-Time Mobile or Per Diem Mobile positions are available. Training for PICC certification is provided for candidates with strong USGIV experience. A sign-on bonus is offered for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the United States
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs)
• Experience with vascular access devices (VAD) management, including care, maintenance and troubleshooting
• American Heart BLS Certification
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance
• Use ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation
• Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices
• Provide vascular access support including port access, line removal and declotting
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines and CVADs
