Job summary

VTP Holdings in Bakersfield, CA is seeking experienced PICC RNs with recent vascular access experience. Prior independent PICC insertion experience is required.

This role involves working with our customers' clinical teams to resolve venous access issues and support treatment objectives, on-site or mobile across facilities. You will place PICCs, midlines, IVs with ultrasound guidance, confirm tips with ECG, manage vascular access devices, educate staff, and travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• RN with active license and current status.
• Experience placing PICCs, midlines and vascular access devices using ultrasound.
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs).
• Experience in vascular access device management, including care and troubleshooting.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care RN experience.
• Smartphone required.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and CVADs.
