Job summary

VTP is seeking experienced PICC RNs with strong, recent vascular access experience to perform PICC and vascular access procedures across clinical settings. This per diem role requires independent work, travel to customer facilities, and in-depth knowledge of ultrasound-guided PICC placement.

Applicants must have an active RN license, USGIV experience, BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone for scheduling. Weekend rotations and holiday coverage are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 3 years in acute care.
• Experience placing PICCs, midlines, or vascular access devices with ultrasound.
• Experience with ultrasound-guided IV placement (USGIVs).
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Must have a smartphone.
• Independent scheduling availability including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs.
