Job summary

VTP is seeking experienced PICC RN consultants to place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance and to support vascular access management across varied clinical settings. Per Diem shifts require travel to customer facilities with a typical 8-hour schedule and weekend/holiday coverage.

Eligible candidates must have active RN licensure, ultrasound-guided insertion experience, USGIVs, BLS, and reliable transportation. A smartphone is required for scheduling and documentation.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current, active license.
• Experience placing PICCs, midlines, or other vascular access devices using ultrasound.
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs).
• Experience in vascular access device management, including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs.
