Job summary

Recruit XL is seeking a Pre-Suit Paralegal for its fast-growing PI practice in North Texas. You will manage client intake, explain pre-suit processes, and act as the primary contact with empathy and professionalism while assisting with property damage and subrogation claims.

You will gather medical records, summarize histories, negotiate lien reductions, and prepare comprehensive demand packages for supervising attorneys. A strong English/Spanish skill set is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience handling plaintiff's personal injury cases in a law firm
• Experience with pre-litigation processes
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Client intake and explain pre-suit processes
• Serve as primary client contact with empathy and professionalism
• Assist clients with property damage and subrogation claims
• Request, track, and organize medical records, bills, and itemized statements
• Review and summarize medical histories and evaluate damages
• Coordinate with medical providers to negotiate lien reductions
• Gather and analyze case evidence and prepare demand packages
• Open and maintain digital case files using case management software
• Track deadlines, including statute of limitations
• Prepare settlement closing statements and facilitate case distributions
