Burress Injury Law PLLC in McKinney, TX, seeks an experienced Personal Injury Pre‑Suit Paralegal to join a growing plaintiffs’ firm. You will strategize with attorneys, coordinate with physicians, clients, and adjusters, and develop evidence to maximize claim value.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and proactive case management within a collaborative team. On-site position with competitive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• NALA certification strongly preferred.
• ABA-approved paralegal certificate program or degree required.
• 3–5 years legal experience in a law firm, personal injury preferred.
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
• Proximity to McKinney, TX; not remote.

Responsibilities

• Organize case filing systems and perform admin tasks.
• Interpret, summarize medical records for discovery responses.
• Create pleadings and legal documents with attorney support.
• Assist lawyers for trial preparation and exhibits management.
• Coordinate client intakes and handle new inquiries.
• Set up injury and subrogation claims and medical appointment planning.
• Obtain medical records, bills, and evidence for cases.
• Prepare demand packages and client closing statements.
• Develop case strategy with attorneys and manage client communications.
