Qualifications

• PhD in Physiology (or related field) required.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience required (preferably in a medical school).
• Experience teaching physiology and active learning methods preferred.
• Open to collaborative approaches to education and interdisciplinary initiatives.
• Open to non-traditional research.

Responsibilities

• Educate medical students in physiology across a two-year preclinical curriculum.
• Create educationally appropriate assessment questions for osteopathic students.
• Serve in leadership and membership capacities on college and campus committees.
• Evaluate student progress in learning; communicate evaluations to students and faculty as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
