Job summary

Harper College in Illinois is seeking a part-time physics tutor to support students in introductory and advanced physics courses, including mechanics, electricity, and quantum physics, along with calculus.

You will demonstrate subject proficiency, assist students in understanding material, maintain records of tutoring sessions, and promote effective study techniques. A Bachelor's degree and prior tutoring experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; previous experience teaching or tutoring physics required; knowledge of TI graphing calculators and familiarity with instructional technology preferred.
• Experience teaching/tutoring preferred.
