Job summary

Hartford Health | GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced physicians to join our expanding urgent care network in Connecticut. The role involves treating adults and children, ordering diagnostics, and managing a wide array of acute episodic conditions in a collaborative environment.

Requirements include 2–5 years post-residency experience, board-eligible or -certified in Family or Emergency Medicine, and an active medical license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school is required.
• 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by an ABMS member board or AOA specialty board in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Active state medical license.
• Urgent care or emergency medicine experience in adult and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients and take medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and X-rays.
• Make diagnoses and prescribe medications.
• Treat minor injuries with sutures, splints, or casting.
• Educate and counsel patients; vaccinate when appropriate.
• Supervise GoHealth PA/NPs remotely when cases are presented.
• Collaborate as a Collaborating Physician for credentialing PA/NPs.
• Commit to approx. 20 hours per month for per diem duties.
