Job summary

HistoSonics, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Physician Training Specialist to deliver high-quality, hands-on education to physicians learning to use the Edison Histotripsy System.

This role requires clinical credibility and strong instructional skills in ultrasound and imaging workflows. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of clinical education experience, travel up to 70%, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, allied health, life sciences or a related clinical field.
• 5+ years in clinical education, medical device training, or related healthcare fields.
• Demonstrated ultrasound experience and ability to teach ultrasound principles and workflows.
• Experience educating physicians or healthcare professionals in procedural or technology-based environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% (air and road).

Responsibilities

• Deliver physician education through established education pathways, including didactics and hands-on system training.
• Educate physicians on Edison System technology, setup, operation, treatment planning, and workflows.
• Provide expert ultrasound education focused on image acquisition and optimization.
• Adapt instruction based on learner needs while maintaining objectives and standards.
• Provide coaching and feedback to build physician knowledge and proficiency.
• Develop expert knowledge of the Edison System, software, and related workflows.
• Troubleshoot system and training environments and escalate when needed.
• Facilitate physician programs, workshops, and training at multiple locations.
