Job summary

Hunter Recruiting in Avon, OH seeks a Physician Recruiter to identify, attract, and place physicians with hospitals and health systems nationwide. You will partner with executives to assess workforce needs and deliver talented physicians that support patient care and organizational growth.

The role requires relationship building with physicians and leadership, proficiency with ATS/CRM systems, and the ability to manage the candidate experience through onboarding and credentialing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of physician/healthcare recruiting experience preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, team-oriented environments preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills expected.
• Knowledge of physician credentialing, licensing, privileging, and healthcare compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, and place physicians across direct hire, permanent placement, and retained search engagements.
• Utilize Boolean search, physician databases, and professional networks to identify candidates.
• Develop and maintain physician talent pipelines across multiple specialties and markets.
• Conduct initial screenings to assess clinical background, objectives, compensation expectations, and fit.
• Coordinate interviews, site visits, and onboarding; manage candidate experience from outreach to start.
