Job summary

IN Compass Health is seeking a Physician Recruiter to join our established team. This role maintains the candidate pipeline, supports recruitment programs, and serves as the outward face of the organization during the hiring process.

The recruiter will manage physician and ancillary recruitment, screen candidates, coordinate hospital interviews, and negotiate terms with candidates while ensuring compliance with internal policies and credentialing processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge on physician and ancillary recruitment methodologies.
• Develops and oversees recruitment strategies within budget.
• Conducts initial screenings and interviewing of candidates.
• Coordinates the interview process with interviewers and hospital clients.
• Negotiates contractual requests of candidates.
• Performs background checks and reference investigations to support hiring decisions.
• Handles health, employment, and insurance forms and start-date communications.
• Supports internal posting programs and recruitment efforts.
• Liaises with employment agencies, ad agencies, temp agencies, and HR admin teams.
• Completes weekly employment activity reports and new-employee orientation.
• Coordinates medical staff and financial credentialing; maintains relationships with hospital clients.
