Job summary

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care in St. Louis, MO is seeking a dedicated Physician to join our collaborative, modern clinical environment.

We offer a highly competitive compensation package with a generous sign-on bonus up to $25,000, plus monthly and quarterly bonuses, comprehensive benefits from day one, relocation assistance, and PSLF eligibility. You will provide a wide range of clinical services, supervise PA/NPs, work 8- or 12-hour shifts, and treat patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Active state medical license.
• 2 years of post-residency clinical experience, ideally in urgent care or emergency medicine.
• Experience treating patients across all age groups.
• Proficiency in minor procedures and reading EKGs/X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Examining and treating patients with acute conditions.
• Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests.
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications.
• Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations.
• Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow‑up care.
• Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support.
• Working 8‑ or 12‑hour shifts in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused setting.

What We’re Looking For:

• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
• Active state medical license

• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers

Your Role:
