Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care in Festus, MO is seeking a board-certified physician to join our fast-paced urgent care network, offering flexible scheduling and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide acute care, perform minor procedures, coordinate follow-up, supervise PA/NPs, and use Epic EMR in a modern center with imaging and labs. We offer PSLF eligibility, relocation assistance, and supporting team dynamics.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Active medical license in good standing (US).
• 2+ years post-residency urgent care or emergency medicine experience.
• Experience treating patients of all ages.
• Proficient in suturing, splinting, reading EKGs and X-rays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with APPs.

Responsabilités

• Examine and treat patients with acute conditions.

• Document progress and coordinate follow-up care.

What We're Looking For:

• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
• Active state medical license
• 2 years of post-residency clinical experience, ideally in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
• Experience treating patients across all age groups
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers

Your Role:

• As a Physician at Mercy-GoHealth, you'll independently provide a wide range of clinical services, including:
  • Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
  • Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
  • Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
  • Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
  • Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care
  • Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
  • Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting
