Job summary

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care in Missouri is seeking a Board-certified Physician to join our fast-paced urgent care network. The role involves treating patients with acute conditions, performing minor procedures, and coordinating care across teams.

You will work with a supportive staff and modern centers, with flexible schedules, comprehensive benefits on day one, and opportunities for professional growth. Epic EMR, imaging and labs are available to support quality care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
• Active state medical license
• 2 years of post-residency clinical experience
• Experience treating patients across all age groups
• Proficiency in suturing, splinting, reading EKGs and X-rays
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers

Responsibilities

• Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
• Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
• Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
• Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care
• Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision
• Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced setting

What We're Looking For:
