Qualifications

We are seeking a Physician Services Coordinator - Medical Assistant to join our facility in Roswell, GA!

At Recovery Village Atlanta (RVA), we provide a full continuum of care, including medical detox, inpatient, outpatient, and aftercare services. Located in Roswell, GA, just 25 miles north of Atlanta, RVA offers a safe environment for healing. More about RVA at this link.

Pay Range
Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and medical staff with scheduling inpatient and outpatient visits.
  • Support medical staff in database technology and electronic medical records management.
  • Perform compliance audits and manage patient lab data.
  • Coordinate with facility leadership to ensure operational success.
  • Review and process medical reports, labs, and discharge summaries.
  • Schedule physician and nurse practitioner visits, coordinate transportation, and maintain data reports.
  • Assist case managers with patient leave and disability paperwork.
  • Cross-train as a BHT for emergencies.
  • Assist in scheduling medical staff, manage on-call coverage, and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Support medication authorization processes and new staff orientation.
  • Conduct chart audits and manage medical records documentation.
  • Order prescription pads and schedule interviews for new hires.
  • Manage data related to urine screenings and coordinate with UR.
  • Report concerns to supervisors and perform other duties as assigned.

If a Medical Assistant:

  • Assist nursing with blood draws and perform EKGs as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum one year in a healthcare setting; current ARS employee must have 6 months in a treatment center.
  • Medical Assistant (MA) preferred.
