Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
• 5 years of demonstrated sales experience or relevant work experience.
• 2 years of hospital or healthcare experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and current economic trends affecting healthcare systems.
• Ability to understand the larger strategic picture and leverage the role to drive growth.
• Clear communication and ability to align results with operator expectations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and build relationships.
• Willingness to work after hours and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a market-facing extension of hospital and medical group leadership, focused on driving market share growth and service line performance.
• Build and advance strategic relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, practice leaders, and other referral sources to generate new business.
• Prospect for new development opportunities, identify competitive opportunities, and develop targeted strategies to convert business from competitors.
• Develop and execute data-driven territory, account, and service line growth plans.
• Maintain a strong command of the market including referral patterns and competitive activity.
• Translate market intelligence into actionable recommendations for hospital and medical group leadership.
• Establish account priorities, call strategies, and next steps to move opportunities through the sales process.
• Meet growth targets for assigned service lines and territories and measure activity and results.
• Use CRM tools to manage target accounts, pipelines, and follow-up activity.
• Deliver differentiated service line messaging that connects provider needs with Lovelace specialists and services.
• Collaborate with clinical operations and leadership to resolve operational barriers affecting growth and patient experience.
• Demonstrate business acumen and consultative selling skills when engaging physicians and executives.
