Job summary

Tryon Medical Partners in Charlotte, NC seeks a Physician Recruiter to lead the end-to-end recruitment of physicians, building strong pipelines and coordinating with hiring leaders.

You will review CVs, screen candidates, present opportunities with compensation details, and develop job postings while tracking metrics and staying current on regional hiring trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years recruiting experience, healthcare experience preferred.

Physician Recruiter

General Job Summary: Responsible for the successful recruitment of physicians for Tryon Medical Partners.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Identifies and sources targeted physicians using a variety of effective recruitment methods.
• Reviews CVs and phone screens candidates to determine quality and fit.
• Present physician opportunities with detail and clarity, providing information about the compensation plan, benefits and specific elements of the position.
• Prepares job descriptions and develops job postings for Tryon’s website.
• Identifies and searches candidate database(s) for potential candidates.
• Develops hiring campaigns and places follow-up calls to proactively source candidates.
• Research and attend job fairs, conferences and other physician recruitment opportunities; research association publications, websites and other appropriate resources on which to post physician opportunities.
• Assists with the development of promotional materials to be used in recruitment.
• Maintains candidate tracking database of positions open, interviews scheduled, offers made, offers accepted or not accepted and reasons for offers declined to ensure the candidate selection process is competitive.
• Stays current on regional and national physician hiring trends and practices; keeps informed of changes impacting Tryon’s ability to hire and retain top physician talent.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Education and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 – 4 years recruiting experience, healthcare experience preferred.
• Skills
  • Excellent communication skills including negotiation skills; must be persistent and persuasive.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage a large workload within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
  • Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems; comparing and analyzing data; preparing clear, concise, and thorough reporting.
  • Very strong customer service orientation, positive attitude and change oriented.
• Physical Requirements
  • Work consistently requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Must be able to lift and support weight of 35 pounds
