Job summary

Banner Health in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Physician Practice Supervisor to oversee daily admin operations of the Admin-Clinic. You will lead non-physician staff, coordinate front and back office activities, and support scheduling and patient services in a busy clinic.

The role focuses on ensuring efficient practice operations, mentoring staff, and maintaining high standards of patient care within Banner Health’s orthopedic and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s Degree or higher. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years experience in a physician’s office or medical environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for certain assignments.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of non-physician staff to ensure productivity.
• Selects, trains, coaches, motivates, conducts evaluations, and directs staff workflow.
• Oversee reception, scheduling, patient service areas, and records management.
• Acts as liaison between staff and physicians to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintains office policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates maintenance needs and ensures supplies are accessible.
• Covers front and/or back office functions as needed.
