Job summary

Banner Alzheimer’s Institute in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a supervisor to ensure efficient operation of the clinic, manage non-physician staff, and optimize patient flow. The role emphasizes coaching, real‑time problem resolution, and maintaining productive workflows on day shifts.

The supervisor will coordinate coverage, support escalations, and uphold high standards of patient care, communication, and teamwork within Banner Medical Group.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s Degree and basic literacy, communication and math skills.
• Two years of experience in a physician's office or medical environment with strong communication and organization skills.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at hire for Behavioral Health settings where applicable; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of non-physician staff and monitors productivity.
• Trains, coaches, motivates, evaluates staff and directs workflow across offices.
• Oversees front/back office functions including reception, scheduling, records, and information systems.
• Acts as liaison between staff and physicians to ensure quality patient care and effective teamwork.
• Maintains office policies/procedures per physician requirements and regulatory standards.
