Job summary

ProMedica Physicians Group is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist in Toledo, Ohio. This role focuses on 100% inpatient or observation coverage with 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM). Weekend and holiday coverage is required.

You will be the main admitting service for most specialties and work in a campus with NICU and PICU on-site, collaborating with UT Medical School and residency programs to provide teaching and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.
• Current AHA certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Commitment to ongoing CME and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage (inpatient or observation).
• Serve as main admitting service for most specialties and cover NICU/PICU as applicable.

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician in Toledo, Ohio.

Opportunity Highlights

• Group currently consists of 11 physicians and four Advanced Practice Providers
• 12-hour shifts- 6:00 AM- 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM- 6:00 AM
• Weekends and holidays required

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided
• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
