Job summary

ProMedica Physicians Group in Sylvania, Ohio is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to join a collaborative team within the Toledo area. The position includes hospital rounding shared with two physicians and six advanced practice providers, and clinic hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Qualifications include MD/DO, valid Ohio medical license, board-eligible or board-certified in Infectious Disease, and current AHA certifications.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution in Infectious Disease.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Hospital rounding with providers in the practice.
• Collaborate with two physicians and six advanced practice providers.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship efforts with the clinical pharmacy team.

Epic EMR Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.
