Job summary

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) in Toledo, Ohio seeks a Pediatric Hospitalist to join the inpatient team on 12-hour shifts. The role centers on 100% inpatient or observation care with the main admitting service for most specialties, including Level 1 nursery care on campus.

You collaborate with the University of Toledo Medical School and Pediatric residency, participate in hospital committees, and engage in quality improvement and teaching activities, backed by a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Ohio.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric hospital medicine or relevant specialty.
• Current American Heart Association certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS, etc.).
• Commitment to ongoing CME and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour inpatient or observation coverage (days or nights).
• Serve as main admitting service for most pediatric specialties.
• Collaborate with UT Medical School and UT Pediatric residency for teaching.
• Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.
• Deliver preventive care and patient education to diverse patient populations.
