Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator/Coordinator to oversee operations of the employed physician Practice, ensuring staffing, productivity, and billing accuracy across multiple sites in South Florida.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years of lead experience and 4+ years in a physician practice setting. A focus on scheduling, insurance verification, and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.
• Lead experience: 3 years; physician practice experience preferred (4 years).

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operations of the employed physician Practice to ensure staffing, productivity, billing and core functions.
• Reviews End of Month Reports and related data; presents issues to Practice Administrator and Director.
• Provides monthly summaries of Practice operations to the Administrator and Director for review meetings.
• Conducts monthly staff meetings and supports scheduling, front desk, insurance verification, and billing functions.
• Monitors Kronos to minimize overtime and obtain proper prior approvals.
• Attends and participates in Office Coordinator meetings and ensures compliance with policies.
• Ensures joint commission compliance in the practices.
