Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a physician to provide comprehensive MEPS medical evaluations on-site at designated MEPS locations to ensure compliance with OSHA, Privacy Act, and DoD standards. Responsibilities include detailed histories, physical exams, and test interpretation in a fast-paced government contracting environment.

The role requires a medical degree (MD/DO or equivalent), active U.S. license, and 3 years of graduate training or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training and certification (AHA) is required.
• Must maintain appropriate clinical privileges and credentialing.
• Occasional shift work and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations per DoD/USMEPCOM standards.
• Review medical records and histories; interpret tests and diagnose.
• Inform applicants of abnormal findings and coordinate with staff.
