Job summary

Cherokee Federal seeks a Physician to perform comprehensive medical evaluations for MEPS applicants, ensuring compliance with OSHA, Privacy Act, DoD, and USMEPCOM standards. You will review medical records, conduct histories and exams, interpret tests, and identify disqualifying conditions.

This on-site role covers multiple MEPS locations nationwide, with a starting salary of $208,000–$250,000 and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited U.S./Canada program or equivalent
• Must possess current active medical license in U.S. state/DC/territory
• Three years of graduate training or equivalent experience in the specialty

Responsibilities

• Ensure OSHA and Privacy Act standards compliance for MEPS
• Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physicals
• Review diagnostic tests and coordinate with consultants
• Identify disqualifying conditions and communicate findings
• Update USMEPCOM database with applicant information
