Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking a maternal-fetal medicine physician to join a collaborative team providing outpatient care with daytime hospital-delivery coverage and consultative coverage during nights and weekends.

Opportunities exist to lead and educate, helping to develop OB best practices regionally while working alongside dedicated specialists and support staff across Boise, Nampa, and Twin Falls clinics.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Idaho.
• Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy.
• Eligibility to obtain Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke’s Health System.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care with daytime coverage for hospital deliveries.
• Offer consultative coverage at nights and weekends.
• Collaborate with a team of MFM specialists, OB laborists and support staff.
• Lead and educate to develop and implement OB best practices regionally.

Education

MD/DO from an accredited medical school

Board-certified or board-eligible

Active, unrestricted medical license in Idaho

Current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency license and Idaho Board of Pharmacy license

• Unique features: Maternal-Child Transport teams, support of regional critical access hospitals, and teaching opportunities
