Job summary

Aiken Physicians Alliance, affiliated with Aiken Regional Medical Centers, seeks a physician to provide comprehensive medical care in office and hospital settings. The role includes outpatient and inpatient care, with scheduled call coverage and adherence to professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional medical care to patients in accordance with the professional standards of care, quality and practice controls and policies as adopted by Group and as required by law.
• Provide call coverage for the Office(s) as scheduled by Group.
• Provide uncompensated days of emergency department call coverage for the Hospital(s) per month, consistent with the Medical Staff Bylaws and by speciality.
• Provide outpatient care in the Offices and inpatient care at the Hospital to patients.
• Perform the particular duties assigned by Group from time to time.
• Keep and maintain appropriate records, reports, claims and correspondence necessary and appropriate in connection with all professional services Physician renders under employment and as required by Group policies and procedures in effect from time to time.
• Promote Group's professional practice to the extent permitted by law and the applicable canons of professional ethics.
• Attend to the administrative duties of the Group's professional practice to the extent required by Group's policies.
• Perform all acts reasonably necessary to maintain and improve Physician's professional skills.
• Participate in marketing/public relations of his/her duties such as speaking engagements, newspaper interviews, etc. as required by Group from time to time.

• Attend to the administrative duties of the Group's professional pratctice to the extend required by Group's policies.
• Perform all acts reasonably necessary to maintain and improve Physician's professional skills.
