Job summary

Aiken Physicians Alliance, affiliated with Aiken Regional Medical Centers, is seeking physicians to provide comprehensive medical care for Group patients, including office and hospital-based services. The role includes call coverage and participation in ED call coverage as per bylaws.

Responsibilities span outpatient and inpatient care, record-keeping, and engagement in administrative and community outreach activities. Licensing in SC is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and licensed to practice medicine in the State of South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional medical care to Group patients in accordance with professional standards, quality, and practice controls.
• Provide call coverage for the office(s) as scheduled by Group.
• Provide uncompensated days of emergency department call coverage for the hospital(s) per month, consistent with the Medical Staff Bylaws and by specialty.
• Provide outpatient care in the offices and inpatient care at the hospital to patients.
• Perform duties assigned by Group as required.
• Maintain records, reports, claims, and correspondence as required by Group policies.
• Promote Group's professional practice to the extent permitted by law.
• Attend to administrative duties of the Group's professional practice as required by Group's policies.
• Participate in marketing and public relations activities such as speaking engagements and newspaper interviews.
