Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or RHIA/RHIT/CDIP/CCS is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in health information management preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of physician coding experience required; 8 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new coders and provide ongoing training as needed.
• Provide daily administrative support including productivity monitoring.
• Manage timekeeping and workflow coordination for coding staff.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to maintain coding accuracy.
• Communicate with team to maintain cohesiveness and lead change.
