Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Certified coder (CPC, CCS-P, CCS or CCA) required.
• 2+ years abstract coding for physician services; remote/digital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign CPT, HCPCS II and ICD-10-CM codes.
• Collaborate with physicians for clarification on diagnoses and procedures.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and secure handling of patient information.
• Support AR and patient billing by addressing coding-related denials and questions.
