Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assigns ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes within guidelines.
• Codes professional services and hospital outpatient surgeries and observations.
• Ensures documentation supports the assigned codes and data integrity of patient records.
• Researches questions and issues with patient accounts and coding queries.
• Maintains productivity and accuracy standards and collaborates with providers for clarifications.
