Qualifications

• Knowledge of ICD-9-CM, ICD-10 and coding principles.
• 3 years coding experience in a hospital setting.
• Certification as CCS, CIC, RHIA or RHIT required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data integrity of coded records and validate documentation supports codes.
