Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years healthcare experience.
• 3+ years inpatient CDI experience (2+ years) required.
• Registered Nurse or AHIMA/ACDIS credential required.

Responsibilities

• Provide education related to CDI to physicians and staff.
• Hold strong organizational skills and proactively prioritize day-to-day activities.
• Deliver education in meetings, rounding, and one-on-one sessions.
• Contribute to development of documentation education and training resources for CDI standards.
• Review documentation data to identify clinical documentation root causes and trends.
• Represent CDI in multi-department projects with documentation implications.
• Collaborate with multi-department teams to leverage technology for physician documentation.
• Assist with timely physician query completion and align tasks with CDI leadership.
