HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking a CDI Operations Specialist to provide onsite support for the CDI functions at division and facility levels. You will interpret trend data related to CDI outcomes and partner with physicians to improve documentation.

The role requires collaboration with leaders across divisions, delivering education to physicians and providers, and working independently with minimal supervision. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in health care required.
• 3+ years of inpatient CDI experience (2+ years) required.
• Registered Nurse or any credential nationally recognized as AHIMA or ACDIS required.

Responsabilités

• Provide onsite support for the CDI functions at division and facility level.
• Interpret data that has been trended and analyzed related to CDI outcomes.
• Deliver education to physicians, residents and advanced practice providers.
• Collaborate with multi-department teams to leverage technology for physician documentation.
• Assist with timely physician query completion.
• Work independently with little to no supervision.
