Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a CDI Operations Specialist to provide on-site support for CDI functions across divisions and facilities. You will interpret trend data, conduct focused reviews, and partner with physicians to identify documentation improvement opportunities.

The role requires collaboration with division and facility leadership, the ability to work independently, and up to 25% travel to various hospitals within the division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years health care experience required.
• 3+ years inpatient CDI experience (2+ years) required.
• Registered Nurse or AHIMA/ACDIS credential required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate education related to CDI to stakeholders as directed by CDI standards.
• Deliver education to physicians, residents, and advanced practice providers in meetings, rounding, and sessions.
• Contribute to the development of CDI education resources.
• Review documentation data to identify root causes and trends in CDI.
