Summary
The Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) will hire a full-time, non-invasive Cardiology Physician with advanced heart failure experience. PVAHCS is a Cardiology fellowship and Internal Medicine residency rotation site that participates in VA-led research with the University of Arizona and Dignity Health, providing state-of-the-art research facilities and resources, including the Million Veterans Program, a groundbreaking study to improve veterans' care and advance medical science.

Duties
This position offers opportunities to participate in VA-led research initiatives and collaborate with University affiliates, including the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and Dignity Health. Physicians will have access to advanced research facilities and resources, including the MVP, supporting groundbreaking studies to improve veteran care and advance medical science.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Paid Time Off: 50-55 days per year (including annual leave, sick leave, holidays, and CME leave)

Required
Full-time, non-invasive Cardiologist, five days/week, rotating weekends and evenings, outpatient and inpatient services including:

• Veteran evaluation and management
• Cardiac consultations, ICU, Med-Surg, Telemetry
• Electronic consults, echocardiography, stress testing, Holter, ECG
• Device implantation, catheterization, CT angiography, MRI, rehab

Work Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm PST, Monday-Friday

Requirements
U.S. citizenship, licensure, residency training, English proficiency, background check, physical exam, vaccination, and other conditions as detailed above.

Qualifications
MD or equivalent, full/unrestricted license, completed residency in approved program, proficiency in English, and preferred experience in non-invasive cardiology.
