Patriot Urgent Care, a CRH Healthcare company, is hiring Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for urgent care roles in Maryland. Expect competitive hourly pay, a $25,000 sign-on, and 12–15 shifts per month with predictable schedules.

Formación

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as an FNP or PA-C.
• Active Maryland NP or PA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current FNP or PA-C certification and DEA registration if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients ages 2+ with acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.
• Serve as primary Advanced Practice Provider during scheduled shifts.
• Perform sports and DOT physicals, pre-employment exams, and annual physicals.
• Evaluate work-related injuries and workers' comp cases.
• Perform urgent care procedures: suturing, splinting, I&D, wound care.
• Order and interpret X-rays, labs, and 12-lead EKGs.
• Prescribe meds and develop treatment plans per Maryland protocols.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate charting and collaborate with teams for patient flow.

Primary Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients ages 2 and older presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and appropriate chronic conditions.
• Serve as the primary Advanced Practice Provider during scheduled shifts, supported by clinical team members.
• Perform sports physicals, DOT physicals when qualified, pre-employment examinations, and annual physicals.
• Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and workers' compensation cases.
• Perform urgent care procedures, including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including X-rays, laboratory tests, and 12-lead EKGs.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with Maryland regulations and clinical protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support efficient patient flow and an exceptional patient experience.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Maryland Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience practicing as an FNP or PA-C
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain one
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated ability to perform common urgent care procedures, including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
• Ability to independently interpret X-rays, EKGs, and other diagnostic results
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to high‑quality patient care
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced clinical environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, primary care, or internal medicine
• Experience managing a broad range of patient conditions in a high‑volume outpatient setting
• Familiarity with occupational medicine and workers' compensation services

Hourly Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $65.00–$80.00 per hour

Exact compensation will vary based on clinical experience, qualifications, and location.

Eligible providers may also qualify for a $25,000 sign‑on bonus, performance‑based compensation increases, and an annual production incentive program, subject to applicable program terms.
