Job summary

Peachtree Immediate Care, a CRH Healthcare company, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (FNP or PA-C) for a fast-paced urgent care. You will manage walk-ins and same-day appointments for ages 2+, perform sports/DOT/annual physicals, and diagnose acute illnesses with access to on-site tests and imaging.

The role requires MD license eligibility in Maryland, current FNP/PA certification, and 2+ years of clinical experience, with competitive compensation and a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Maryland Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• At least two years of clinical experience as an FNP or PA-C
• Active DEA registration, or ability to obtain one
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to perform common urgent care procedures, including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
• Ability to independently interpret X-rays and other diagnostic test results
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-service skills
• Preferred Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine
• Experience practicing in a fast-paced or high-volume clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Manage episodic and chronic conditions with walk-ins and same-day appointments as the sole advanced practice provider for ages 2 and up
• Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annual
• Evaluate patients for workers' compensation injuries
• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute illnesses and injuries
• Performing procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
• Ordering and independently interpreting diagnostic tests, including X-rays, laboratory work, and 12-lead EKGs
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with Maryland regulations and clinic protocols
• Educating patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Accurately and efficiently documenting patient encounters
• Collaborating with clinical and operational team members to provide a convenient, caring, and high-quality patient experience
