Qualifications

• Active license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of employment.
• NCCPA certification required.
• Current DEA license required at start date.
• Current Controlled Substance license required at start date.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for rehab patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including histories, exams, and diagnostics to set rehab goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes and independence.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and educational activities to enhance clinical knowledge.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in EMR systems.
• Educate patients and families about the rehab process, outcomes, and post-discharge care.
