Qualifications

• Actively licensed to practice in the state of employment.
• Current Controlled Substances License.
• Current DEA License.
• NCCPA Certification.
• Desire to work in Physiatry/PM&R.
• Orthopedic Experience preferred.
• Physiatry Experience preferred.
• Skilled Nursing Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including histories and exams, to determine rehab goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize functional outcomes and independence.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and educational activities to enhance skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records from evaluations to discharge summaries.
• Educate patients and families about the rehab process and post-discharge care.
